In the game of Virtual Survivor, fire represents life.

Once it's gone, so are you.

We'll start with some questions.

First off, congratulations on making the merge!

Austin,
You've had only a few hours as the new Balboa Tribe. Were you surprised that no Outcasts won the challenge and it became an individual Immunity Challenge?

"I was not surprised. I think that the best players are in this game for reason. In the case of Karen and Mikaela especially, they were just stupid players mentally. These challenges all require some kind of mental astuteness in terms of like deciding to forfeit the challenge and get a zero instead of playing on and taking a negative number. Unfortunately Jeffrey did a similar thing in the challenge today but it's ok because: A) We won anyway B) He's a beast at life So, we're good. And no, no surprise."

Earl,
Same question.

"I wasn't too surprised that no Outcasts came back. At first I thought one would because our scores (as Drake) weren't the greatest, but then I remembered that the Outcasts had Mikaela, and I felt a little safer . . . haha. I was shocked that it turned out to be an individual challenge, because I thought it would've been Tribal. So yes VJP, you got me on that one."

K.J.?

"I was surprised more of the Outcasts didn't want to try to get back in the game. I know of course Kirin, Zach and Fiers would compete, but, I didn't think the others wouldn't care. I am excited to have made the merge. It feels great!"

How about you, Johnny?

"It actually didn't surprise me the Outcasts didn't win the challenge. Most of them were voted out for the reason; they were the "weakest link" in their respective tribe. The people who i thought would do well did, and the people who i didn't expect to do well didn't even participate. So when i read the results i wasn't very surprised. I was very shocked when i realised that the challenge became individual immunity, but was glad to find out i pulled through in the end!"

Jessie?

"Yeah, i m so afraid outcasts will won, so i m happy it became a individual immunity challenge!!!"

Wendy,
Same question.

"yeah i was kinda surprised"

Next question:

Nicolas,
Were you expecting something like this to happen in the game?

"I'm expecting anything in this game"

Brentin, same question...

"I think it was expected becuase most of the game has been following the actual show routine and I felt that this would follow through the same way."

Jeffrey?

"A merge? =P Yes. An outcast twist, I suspected as well."

Devyn, you've never been much for words.
Do you have an answer for this one?

"Sure?"

Question #3:

K.J.,
How does this surprise merge change your strategy in the game? Or do you still see this as Drake vs. Morgan? Does it worry you that it's 4 original Drake members to 6 original Morgan members?

"The merge does change strategy, and you'd be lying if you said it didn't change it at all, but I am playing the game as I have from the beginning. Although when you're in tribes you play for the "good of the tribe". Now we have to play for ourselves or our alliances and so that does change up how things go."

Austin, you're shaking your head...

"It doesn't really change my strategy. My strategy all along has been just to get to know people on a personal level and then eventually talk strategy and discuss decisions. Unfortunately, since there has been so little time of getting to know each other I've had to be a bit pushy in "talking business" but it's not because I don't care about people individually. It's just the time crunch we were all feeling."

How about you, Wendy?

"no it doesnt worry me."

Johnny?

"The merge dosn't change my strategy in anyway. Morgan vs. Drake will forever be etched into us. It's hard to forget about all the people from your previous tribe since we've all grown close over the last 6 rounds. It's hard to trust the Drake people because we've just met them, so it's natural to still trust your fellow tribe mates. With that being said anything can still happen."

Have anything to add, Jessie?

"Well, it hard to say, but i still think it's D vs M"

Earl, what's that look for??

"It really didn't change my strategy too much. This game still is Drake vs. Morgan. But I can't say it's because both sides want it that way. Many exMorgans made it clear to us exDrakes that this is the case. Which sucks because, hello . . . we are Balboa. But whatever. Apparently exMorgan is playing a game in which they win as a tribe. Newflash - it's an individual game, only one person will win. It doesn't worry me that there are 4 original Drakes and 6 original Morgans, however it does worry me that Morgan has chosen to play this game the way they did. If they continue doing this, which I don't see them doing other wise, then they have already handed to win to someone. I won't say who it is, because I won't point them out like that . . . but I'm sure they know who it is."

Last question:

So Earl,
Regardless of the outcome of tonight's vote, how do you think your strategy will have to change from this point forward?

"My strategy will change in the fact that I won't be able to have one . . . haha. I truly think I am going tonight. Just the way things seem to be adding up leads me to believe this. I will be SHOCKED as all hell if it's not my torch getting snuffed."

K.J., how about you?

"Well, I will continue like I always do. . . being open to change, because you have to be to play this game. This game changes daily. I have a couple people that I trust and will hold onto that as long as I can. I will also step up my effort in challenges, although I feel I have put alot of effort in, there is always room to improve. :)"

Austin, you look like you have something to say...

"The people I was with in this game now take a different role in this game. Do I try to sacrifice them and flip to the Morgans? No way! So, what does that leave me to do? Vote for Morgans to no avail? No way! This is a lose-lose."

Very interesting...

Jeffrey?

"I think I just have to step it up even more socially if I want to survive in the game."

One last bit of business to take care of:

Johnny has individual Immunity.

Johnny, would you like to assign it to someone else or keep it for yourself?

Johnny chose to keep Immunity for himself.

So you cannot vote for Johnny. Everyone else is fair game.

It is time to vote.

Once the votes are read, the decision is final.

The person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately.

I'll go tally the votes.
