We'll start with some questions.
Let's talk about the Immunity Challenge.
Nicolas,
What does this victory over a proven challenge-winner such as Johnny mean to you?
"Well I was in my bed waking up and reading the results on my phone and i was like 'wow! that's impossible'. I was very surprised. I practiced a lot and all in a sudden i got that score. That was just luck I guess. I was not expecting that victory but well ... I'm quite happy about that. I was dreaming of that immunity and i got it." |
Johnny,
Although your score was very good, you still lost to Nicolas by 14 points!
What do you think about that? Does it worry you?
"First I wanted to formally congratulate Nic for winning Immunity. This was a tough challenge and you did an amazing job! Secondly I want to say that I am Human and not a machine, so as much as I would like to win every challenge that's just not the case. Does it worry me that Nic won...not really I mean i knew the day would come that i wouldn't win immunity. Now I have to rely on my ex-tribe mates, just like they've had to rely on me at certain times of the game." |
Austin,
For you, how important was this particular challenge to win?
"This was for sure the most important challenge for me...ever in this game. I knew that if I didn't win this, there was a 99% chance that I was leaving. So basically, I'm going tonight. Or am I?" |
Brentin,
Same question.
"Some people might think that because I'm a Ex-Morgan and there is still one Ex-Drake left in the game that it isn't as improtant for me to win Immunity becuase I at least have one more round of safety. Every Immunity is important for everyone to try to win each round especially as the numbers twindle." |
K.J.?
"I think it's important to try and win every challenge. Although some people don't feel they have to even 'try at all'.." |
How about you, Jessie?
"It's really important to win the immunity, it's the only thing will 100% keep u safe." |
Wendy?
"No time to do the challenge. Sorry." |
No need to apologize to ME...
Next question:
K.J.,
It is very clear that up until this point this has still been Morgan vs. Drake. But now there's only one ex-Drake left. Morgan clearly has the numbers. So how important are Tribal lines at this point in the game? Does voting become a bit more questionable as time goes on?
"This vote is following the Morgan vs Drake plan." |
Johnny, same question...
"For this vote, tribal lines is still very much part of the game. I mean there's still one more ex-Drake member left." |
OK, I see where you two stand...
Austin,
You're the last Drake. What goes through your mind when you hear that?
"I hope to God that voting becomes a bit more questionable. That's exactly what I've been waiting for. My only shot in this game was to sacrifice all the rest of the Drakes and hope that I could get into a position where some Morgans wanted my help as the last Drake. We'll see." |
Nicolas, what do you think?
"It's going to be harder and harder to vote. We are going to be soon only Morgans ... I think the questions will rather raise more at the next tribal than this one." |
Wendy?
"No problem to vote. I'm just following what everybody wants." |
Jessie, how about you?
"Well, yes, it become really hard to decide who i should vote for." |
Brentin?
"I think Tribal lines are less improtant this round than they have been in any round. As we get closer and closer to the end you kinda have to plan whats best for you and keep what players you think would keep you safe. So I think at this point an Ex-Morgan could leave or an Ex-Drake could leave." |
Question #3:
Wendy,
As the game continues, is it harder to trust your original alliance now that players are thinking further ahead in this game?
You're awfully confident! We'll soon see if you're right!
Johnny, how about you?
"Yes and No. I mean yes in the sense we're playing a game and everyone's goal is to make it to the end and win....but NO in the sense that I really like these people and hope they stick to their words!" |
Brentin?
"No. I still trust the people that I'm with and would hope they would still trust me." |
K.J., what do you think?
"I have no trouble trusting the people I have trusted for awhile now. Of course this game is ever changing. I mean, Austin had me praying for a sick mother who is healthy as a horse. Hmmmmm....... trust? it's a hard thing." |
Have anything to add, Nicolas?
"I trust my alliance at 100%. I absolutely have no fear about that. But we are in survivor and i like to say 'anything can happen in survivor'." |
Austin, what's that look for??
"Haha, I have no alliance. This sucks." |
Question #4:
Johnny,
What do you consider to be the hardest move in the game you've had to make up to this point?
"Every move I've made in this game has been hard thus far!" |
How about you, Nicolas?
"Maybe trying to convince people that i'm a trustable person. It's not really a move but it's the most difficult thing i've had to do there." |
But how big is trust? You can either base your entire game on trust and win, or you can lie to everyone and people respect that you "got" them and you still win! It's a delicate balance!
Wendy, what has been your hardest move?
"Don't know what to answer." |
Ooookay...
K.J.?
"So far, none of the votes have been hard for me. I think as we get down to our own "original tribemates" it will become harder for all of us." |
Austin, what about you?
"The hardest move I have had to make was choosing to vote out Earl right after the merge. I liked Earl a lot, but I knew what I had to do. The decision was actually pretty easy because I care about myself more than him, it was just unfortunate." |
Jessie?
"I think the hardest move till now is who i should give my vote to at this tribal concil, now." |
What do you think, Brentin?
"I think this vote tonight is the hardest decision ive had to make.I feel that one player hasn't been playing up to their ability and based on past game play and really being active in this game this person doesn't desevre to stay over myself or the other five survivors." |
Very interesting!
Last question:
K.J.,
Do you think that Austin revealing his mom/cancer lie before all votes were cast was a mistake? Were you considering voting WITH him instead of AGAINST him before the lie was revealed? How about after the lie was revealed - what do you think about it? Do you think that Austin would have a better shot at staying if he had kept it to himself a little longer?
"I think Austin did what he intended to do and that was to stir things up. I would have voted Wendy, because i hate it when people don't participate, but Wendy wasn't the majority vote. there's no use wasting my vote if it won't make a difference.
I would have voted with the majority, not "with" Austin...
I am really hurt by his lie. With what i am going through with my husband, he should have stopped right away. I was praying for his "sick mom" seriously... it's just not right.
Austin was going tonight regardless of the ranting email or the lie about his mom..." |
Brentin, what do you think?
"I personally wouldn't perform a lie like that in any game or any situation. I feel that Austin wanted to do anything he could possibly do to stay in the game as would myself and probably everyone else. I dont think the lie was the best way to do it given something that is happening in another players life at the moment. I dont feel Austin revealing the "Mom" lie way is any way to sway our votes or anything I feel that it was probably once last stich effort to shake the game up and you know it happened." |
How about you, Johnny?
"Austin was a complete moron for lying about his mom, especially before the votes were cast. Going out with a bang is one thing....but dude, honestly are you stupid? Your not even out yet, by all means reveal your cards and bash everyone you want AFTER you've been voted out but NOT before. Anything can happen in this game and if for some crazy reason, you stay, you've ruined your chances of getting any farther in this game.
At least with me, there was never hope for Austin. I told him this over and over again. Yet he kept going and going! I would have NEVER voted for Austin to stay PERIOD. After Austin's confession (for entertainment purpose he claims - RIGHT) I knew our decision to get rid of him was merited. It's one thing to be entertaining, it's another to be a sore loser. If Drake had the numbers at the merge they would have done the same thing we are, despite what any of them may say now.
I don't feel that Austin had a shot to begin with. He was given false hope, and he took the bait. His problem." |
Wow, Austin. You seemed to have caused quite a stir!
Do you think that revealing your mom/cancer lie before all votes were cast was a mistake? Is there anything you would change if you could? Do you think that you would have a better shot at staying if you had kept it to yourself a little longer?
"Um, I don't really know. I was going for shock and entertainment value and by people's reactions, I pulled it off. I was 99% sure that I needed Brentin's vote if I had any chance of staying, and I probably needed Wendy not to vote. Brentin then told me that he wasn't voting for Wendy and Nicolas was going to remind Wendy to vote. SO, I knew I was pretty much screwed. I don't think anything would have been different had I kept my mouth closed. I'm going tonight, it's a fact that was already established. I just feel like these Morgans made it so boring that I had to use a big lie and big speeches to even keep myself involved. It's too bad I'm gone, but I'm quickly over it. I had a blast and I hope the people in this game I care about (Nicolas, KJ, Brentin and Johnny) find it in their hearts to forgive me and know that this character in the game is not in any way me in real life. People will argue that the two blend together, but I can assure you that I use these games to be everything I'm not in real life. In real life I'm a stand up, Christian, grounded leader who really cares about people, but I couldn't pass up this opportunity to for once be an ass...and it was fun. I hope you guys can appreciate that and get to know me for who I am outside of this game. I wish you all luck and thanks for dealing with me." |
One last bit of business to take care of:
Nicolas has individual Immunity.
Nicolas, would you like to assign it to someone else or keep it for yourself?
I'll be keeping it "because there's Johnny perfume on it ;)" |
Nicolas is keeping Immunity for himself!
You cannot vote for Nicolas. Everyone else is fair game.
It is time to vote.
Once the votes are read, the decision is final.
The person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately.
I'll go tally the votes.
