Final Tribal Council ~ Final Jury Vote
Jury Questions

Jeffrey, it's your turn.

"Well, of course the two people I least wanted to make the Final 2 (from the Final 5) made it here. Not that I got anything against you... I just failed to see much from you two. But Brentin, I have to say that you did a good job of convincing me otherwise. I remember talking with you briefly when we were together on Balboa and you seemed like a nice guy, not really a strategist so much as a follower. I still sort of believe that you did your share of following in the beginning, but once again your opening statement shed a lot of light for me on who you were. This was the opposite for KJ. Um, I really expected to see something with a little more... substance? I'm glad that you "had a strategy and an alliance" as you so ELOQUENTLY said it in your opening statement. I don't understand why you would make it sooo short. What if nobody asked you questions about your strategy/alliances? Guess we wouldn't really be able to see all that. Brentin, I think you give a little too much credit to yourself for my boot (I only elaborate on this cause it's one of the few things I was actually there for). No matter how much Nicolas liked me, I'm going to make an educated guess that I probably would not have won the game save for some miracle in which I actually went on a challenge streak (cause KJ, I actually didn't throw that IC the round I left *rolls eyes* I think a more sure-fire way is to stay is to actually win it.) Okay, I've done a lot of talking cause I still dunno what I'm gonna ask you guys. I don't have my vote locked yet, though I am leaning heavily towards one person. Oooh, actually, I know one question that I've been DYING to ask: KJ, why are you such an arrogant person? I literately cringed every time I read your despicable Tribal Council answers, you know, those ones that would say, "Well I know I'm not going anywhere lol ;)". There's a fine line between honesty/confidence & arrogance, and you've crossed it my dear. Did it honestly not cross through your mind that someone might be put off by your little winky-smiley faces succeeding your huge assumptions? You rival Austin in the category of "Tribal Council answers that made me want to throw dog shit in this person's face". Speaking of dog shit, that's pretty much how you made me feel in this game actually. Let's flashback to when you got to visit Drake for a day. (By the way, this is an example of what your arrogance resembled: Now, who wouldn't want to visit Drake? I mean, you get to meet ME! ;)). Did you ever talk to me on Drake? Nope. Not once. Actually, I believe you DID message me once with your salutations and then logged off literately about 30 seconds afterwards. I'm not calling myself a saint here cause I wasn't jumping out of my chair when I saw you online to message you, but come on KJ! Look at your opening statement! You were allegedly SOCIABLE. Maybe you were busy when you visited Drake. That's fine. A few days later we're on Balboa though. I message you. We talk for about one minute, I think we were talking about which season of 24 I was watching on DVD. But then you leave. *sigh* Then, you never talk to me again. Ever. Not even an e-mail. And to top it all off, you say I threw an immunity challenge (which makes no sense, but I won't prolong my rant). So I'm dying to you. Other than the fact that you were social and "had a strategy and alliance" (which FYI I believe that any person playing SURVIVOR has...) why the hell should I give my vote to you? Brentin, I don't really have a huge rant for you. I do have a request for you though. I want you to run through everyone who made the merge (I guess you can exclude Wendy) and give a reason as to why you think they should have won the game. I also want you to include KJ and yourself. Maybe you can shed some light on exactly why KJ should win? Cause based on her opening statement, I'm sure she'll be super-vague. I usually use another jury question but in this case, it would suit KJ more and I'm just not interested in hearing her answer. I'm sure it seems like there's no way I'll vote for KJ to win, but I truly am considering the both of you. I just am at a loss as to why I would ever cast a vote for you to win, especially over Brentin who has proven his winner attributes 10000000x better than you have. Good luck to the both of you! Even though we all know I deserved to win ;)" |
Brentin?
"Heyy Jeffery. It's hard for me speak on some of the ex-Drake members because whether it was lack on my part, both our parts or just bad timing I didn't get a huge chance to see their game. So I'm just going to go on what I know. Earl- The reason why Earl was the first to go after we merged was because we saw him as like the "leader" and biggest threat of the ex-Drake tribe. I only got speak with Earl once but I feel the biggest thing I learned about him was when he was voted off. He left us a note saying like "I wish things were different but play hard etc..". Earl left on a nice note. He chose not to scream and shout (like many other people who were voted off) and I think that's a sign in the maturity in his game play. again" That's the way I would want winner to present their game play. Jeffery- With the whole thing with you, Jeffery/Nic is that Nic came to me ( and it was very suddel) about how he wanted to get rid of KJ before getting rid ofyou, and mentioned to me about taking you to the Final 5. No matter how serious Nic was I knew that if He got another close ally with his already close ally in "Wendy" it would have been dangerous for me. So I think where us ex-Morgans were pretty tight you managed to put an impression on one of us to take you farther, And ultimately split s up. I also thought you were a cool dude, so you managed to come off as a person that could ultimately destroy our alliance. So that's good game play that would deserving winning that I saw from you. Devyn- I also didn't get to speak with Devyn a huge amount. But from the times that I spoke with her she always came off as a person who Yes was here to play but wanted to have fun with it. Those are the type of people I like to surround myself with. A person who wins this game needs to have that attitude or you'll have some depressing winner. So I think Devyn's attitude towards the game is deserving, Austin- The thing I liked the most about Austin was that he never gave up. He was willing to do anything to make it one step further and even betray his own past-tribemates. I really like to see that in someones gameplay so I think that's why Austin's very deserving to win. Nic- Nic was always pretty honest (other than the fake Wendy thing) to me an all the other players. He tended to pick fights with some players or some of his comments made at Tribal Council would make you think that he would be targeted quickly but he managed to last till the Final 5. Nic was also very good at Challenges and a lot of the times we would work together which was fun. So for those reasons Nic deserved to win. Johnny- I think that Johnny was pretty much the all around player of this game. He was fantastic at challenges, he played a great strategic and social game and he was pretty much the motor on the Morgan boat. If it wasn't for him than we wouldn't have won an many Immunities as we did. Also Nic, KJ and even Jessie wanted to take Johnny to the Final 2. Which would have been suicide for them in my mind. So to be that big of a threat and still have people wanting to take you to the end is crazy! If I would have left the game at Final 4 I would have voted for Johnny to win this. Jessie- There are two reasons why I think Jessie deserved to win this. 1) Jessie always stayed loyal to what ever alliance she made. Even though she voted for me lol it was fair. She never wavered and always stayed true. KJ even asked her for a Final 2 Alliance and she said no because it would have went against me. And secondly Jessie friendship. Jessie was just such a good person to have as a friend in this game. A lot of people don't give Jessie enough credit and those are the reasons she would be deserving to win. KJ- Even though KJ wasn't active a lot in the beginning of the game or some of the Challenges (more so in the earlier part of the game) she always managed to be active socially all the time. Even with her personal life and with her troubles with her Husbands health she always managed to stay on top of things and she actually got to the Final 2. Also the Final Immunity challenge was hard as hell and she managed to win it which is a great feet. Also KJ might have had an easier time beating Jessie and she chose to take me.Those are the reasons why that I can see that I would consider voting for KJ. Brentin- I don't want to repeat myself on what I said in my opening statement or what I plan to say in my closing. But I feel that throughout this whole game that I was the most secretive player ( I managed to keep probably the strongest alliance a secret up until it ended.). In this game you always have to think one step ahead and be on your feet. Every vote I casted and every plan I put forth I always stopped and made sure that it would benefit me and not put me back, I was always on my toes, and I pretty much always knew how the game was going. I wasn't afraid to take risk's in this game (like giving away Immunity lol) because I knew if they succeeded than I would be benefited. I put a lot of effort into the game and I was always socially and challengely active. That's why I think I deserve to win. Thanks." |

"Hi Jeffrey I explained in my answer to Austin about my opening statement. I never do the long drawn out statement. I have yet to be addressing a jury in a game where they didn't ask questions to satisfy what they needed to know to cast their vote. In regards to your statement about me being an arrogant person, I am so far from that, it's not even funny. I remember saying that I never felt completely safe at tribal council. I don't ever remember going in cocky at all. If you got that from my comments, I'm sorry. For those who know me and have played with me before, that really is the farthest thing from the truth. I actually have a total different take on the convos we had. I remember chatting with you about 24 and thinking.. kewl, we have something in common. I was at work when we were talking, so I may have gotten called by my boss and then forgot we were chatting when I came back. (IT happens.) It wasn't intentional that's for sure When I first went to Drake I was very uneasy about my position. I knew I was a target at my tribe and I was thankful that I was safe and yet, I knew that if I tried to get to know you guys, you would see it as kissing ass and trying to get information and then I would be a threat if/when I had to go back to Morgan. Several of my tribemates thought that I had an unfair advantage because I had spent time with you guys. I didn't talk strategy with anyone excpet Austin and Devyn. Both were extremely friendly and seemed happy for me to be there. I was wondering why I was chosen, and I know someone told me why, but honestly I cannot remember right now. So, it was a calculated social play. Too much would be fake, too little would be rude... This was also a time when I was spending alot of time in the hospital with my hubby I believe and I was online alot less than usual. But regardless, I felt we had made a connection and I enjoyed talking to you. I wasn't the only one who thought you threw the immunity challenge. If you didn't , then I also apologize for that comment, but it is how it "appeared"... Why should you give me your vote? Well, I came into this game with a strategy that I always play with, although I do try new things in every game that I play. If we had been on the same tribe at the beginning, you would have experienced the social side of who I am. I align with the strongest players and then earn the trust of everyone else so they will share with me when I am in trouble. That's how I knew Fiers was targeting me and trying to get me voted out and that's also how I found out that Johnny was flipping on me. I did the challenges, although there were several I coudn't do because of my situation with my husband and the hospital. No excuses, but I didn't have internet and I had to be there for him. I did win immunity when I needed it. It wasn't a fluke like Johnny thinks... that the directions were unclear. I read the directions and followed them. I did vote with the majority because I agreed with the order people were going. If I didn't agree with the vote, then I voted who I felt should go. Just because you don't dominate in challenges, or make "huge plays" in the game doesn't mean you don't deserve to be in the F2 or deserve to win. My strategy may be different from yous, and yours from Johnnys, etc. but we all play the way we feel most comfortable with. I respect your game play as well as Johnny's, but I also respect my own. I hope this has answered all of your questions. Thanks . . . kj" |
